My Journey as a Nabil SSE 4th Cohort Fellow | Nabil SSE Fellowship | Entrepreneurship in Nepal

When I first got the email saying I was selected for the Nabil SSE 4th Cohort,

Nabil SSE 4th Cohort Fellow

I literally smiled for hours. For me, it wasn’t just another program — it was a milestone. I had always admired how Nabil School of Social Entrepreneurship (Nabil SSE) has been shaping young changemakers across Nepal, and now I was officially part of that journey. Representing Up2Devices in such a space felt like a proud and defining moment.

For those who don’t know, Nabil SSE Fellowship is a 6-month intensive program under Nabil Bank’s CSR initiative — designed for Nepali entrepreneurs who are driven to create social change through innovative business ideas. And here’s the best part: it’s completely free. Yes, zero cost — but the value it delivers is priceless.

Throughout these months, we’ve been diving deep into everything from design thinking and startup fundamentals to pitching to investors. What makes it stand out is the people behind it — the mentors, trainers, and practitioners. They’re not just lecturers; they’re people who’ve been there, done that. When we’re learning marketing, we’re not reading theories — we’re getting insights directly from marketing heads of top Nepali companies. That’s what makes Nabil SSE so real and practical.

Every fellow in the Nabil SSE 4th Cohort brings their own story, passion, and purpose. There are just 20 of us, but it feels like a small startup family — we share ideas, challenge each other, and grow together. Some days we’re brainstorming wild solutions; other days, we’re sitting quietly, reflecting on how we can make Nepal a better place through entrepreneurship. That sense of community — that feeling of belonging — is something I’ll never forget.

As a young entrepreneur building in Nepal, this fellowship has given me more than just knowledge. It’s given me perspective — about leadership, sustainability, and impact. It’s made me realize that entrepreneurship isn’t just about business growth; it’s about solving real problems and uplifting people along the way.

Programs like Nabil SSE are exactly what the startup ecosystem in Nepal needs — a space that empowers dreamers to become doers, not just through funding or theory, but through mentorship, collaboration, and real human connection.

I’m deeply thankful to be part of this journey — to learn, unlearn, and grow with such inspiring people. Being a Nabil SSE Fellow isn’t just a title. It’s a responsibility — to create, to contribute, and to carry forward the spirit of social entrepreneurship in Nepal.

And if you’re someone who believes in innovation, purpose, and impact — trust me, the Nabil SSE Fellowship is one of the best fellowships in Nepal to be part of. This is where the next wave of Nepali startups is being born. And I’m proud to say — I’m part of that wave.
